About the Artist:

A little about me...

I'm a born and raised art lover living in Hawaii.  I feel so lucky because I got the best job in the world.  Raising three awesome boys and one punky little princess (in other words I'm a SAHM).  I got into paper crafting about 7 years ago and just love it, I call it my one selfish obsession.  I started off with layouts, got really into cards, but always had a passion for altered arts and making gifts and that's why my Bind-it-All is always sitting on my craft desk.

3"X4" Journal

Hello everyone, Nicole here today to share with you an altered journal I made for my sister using my Zutter Bind -It-All, Round-It-All, 3/4" Pink O-Wires and a pack of 3"X4" Clipboard Wood Covers.

One of the things I love the most about using Clipboard Wood is that you can alter it. Initially, I was going to cover the Clipboard Wood with patterned paper, but after I thought about it, I thought the textures in the Clipboard Wood would really shine through the mist. First I used my Round-It-All to punch the top and bottom right side of the Clipboard Wood.
Then, I grabbed some mist and paint to alter the Clipboard Wood and flower.
White the mist and paint was drying, I decied to cut up some old note paper that I had lying around the house to use as my inserts.
After the pages were cut and the Clip-Board Wood was dry, I punched holes through them so that I could bind them together.
Then, I fed the pink 3/4" Owires through the Clip-Board Wood and papers, cut the wire, and binded them together.

Once the journal was binded, I decorated the cover with some beautiful bling, flower and sentimental stamp and I was done. I think this turned out pretty with the pink and green.

Facebook Zutterista: Stefani Chastain

We love finding new Zutteristas on our Facebook Page and that is exactly where we discovered Stefani's amazing handmade, upcycled journals!!

Isn't this cute?! Stefani stamped sentiments on the bandages printed on the package.

Now we know what to do with all of those board games with missing pieces--turn the rest into mini books!

If you can cut it, you can bind it!

Thank you Stefani for sharing your inspired creations with us on our Facebook Page!!! We're proud to call you a "Zutterista"!

About the Artist:

I have been paper crafting for the last 15 years and mostly just make things for other people. I like making and giving unique gifts. I have been married for 8 years and I am the mother of a 4 year old Boston Terrier named Liberty Belle. I got a Bind it All 6 months ago and have enjoyed making smash books and notebooks with it. As my next project, I am going to make the first scrapbook for me and my husband since we started dating 10 years ago. I'm starting with our recent trip to Disney World.

Upcycled Coffee Bag Journal

I'm so happy to share this project with you today on the Bind-It-All blog!

About a year ago, I was about to throw away one of my Starbucks coffee bags, when I looked at at it, and thought that it was such a shame to throw it out, because it was so pretty! Of course, it seemed a bit silly just to keep it because I liked how it looked, but I decided to give myself a day to think about a creative use for the bag, before I pitched it.

When I was sitting in my studio that evening, I saw my brand new Bind-It-All sitting there, and it hit me! I could collect the coffee bags, and create an album especially for my coffee loving friend Christina! I asked my extended family to save their pretty and unusual bags for me, too....and I ended up with some pretty interesting ones, especially when my parents went on their travels.

The day I mailed the coffee album to my friend was such a great one. Though I usually only get to "virtually" enjoy coffee with Christina, I could make a handmade gift to let her know I was thinking of her over coffee each day. I think this idea makes a great unique gift for any coffee lovers out there. :)
