Zutter Kutter Blade Replacement Video

We've just posted the video on basic assembly and blade replacement for the Zutter Kutter.
Other helpful HELP is located here on the main Bind-it-All website.

The Zutter Kutter is a heavy duty cutter - it can handle chipboard, bookboard, foam board, Zutter Clipboard Wood, and Canvas and stacks of cardstock.  The blades are double sided and can handle hundreds of cuts. When you "replace" your blade the first time, you are actually just turning it around.  Each replacement blade is actually two blades.

This video will be permanently on the HELP page as well as on YouTube.
Enjoy your Zutter Kutter-ing!

Seasons Collage with the Distrezz-it-All

Having resided in Australia for a year now, my family is enjoying the different seasons - something we did not have in tropical Singapore. The Beloved made it a point to take the view outside our apartment at the start of each season and as a result, this project was born.
Each season's picture was created on a cover and embellished to reflect that particular time. What was really fun was the fact that I got to use the Distrezz-It-All on the covers and that added a rustic touch of sorts to each frame. I like how the distrezzed edges complement the trees in the pictures. Don't you?  I used Zutter Canvas Artboard to make even more artsy :)
A simple challenge for you - start snapping pictures of the view outside your home and be amazed at the changes! More importantly, create a distrezzed collage from those pics! Have fun!

Oh My Goth! It's a Screen!

I had the best fun making this screen for the Zutter Zisters Design Team last month! It had been ages since I had used these fab stamps from Stampotique and I sat happily colouring for ages.

The main structure is just grey chipboard covered with the Rockstar papers from DCWV. I then stamped on these with Darkroom Door's Rockstar stamps ... Can you see a theme building :0)
I round the chipboard off by drawing around a CD and sanding to form a smooth edge. Then you just get started with the Bind-it-all using that nippy little continuous button to punch ... it is all just so easy!

I bound the screen with some black lace and then added some shrunken skulls to complete the goth look. The skulls are in fact Lord Tim's skull and crossbones stamp ... but I detached the bones with some scissors ... humanely of course. If you want to see other designs of this screen ... check out my gallery here.
Laters!

It's True! The BIA is the BEST!

I headed out to Art Inspired Studios in Brentwood, California, to teach my BIA mini album class. It was definitely a load of fun and creativity. I had such a great time with a wonderful group of girls. Here are some pictures from my class:

Smiling faces and creative concentrating....all part of a great class!

And here is the awesome Bind-it-All V2.0 in action!

After this mini album class, a couple of girls picked up their very own BIA...and a couple of other gals decided that it was time to dust off their unopened boxes. It really is the best way to create custom albums (mini or otherwise).  With that said, make sure you check your local scrapbook store for BIA classes (or online at MCC for classes by Zister Nan).

Hugs,
sarah.

Summer Lovin' Had Me A Blast!

Ahhhh summer - the time for long days, warm nights and Summer Lovin'.

My son and his best friend are like two peas in a pod. They are so cute together and in the summer they love to hang out. I had some great shots of the two of them and wanted to make a mini album for them. I decided to make it into a gatefold album which is lots of fun and crazy - just like them.

For the covers I used the Zutter 6x6 Chipboard Covers and cut the front cover in half. I decorated it with the Cosmo Cricket DeLovely adding a title and some of the cute desings from the paper. I also added some buttons to the binding. Note the Baby Blue Owire - adds just the right touch to the bright colors of the papers.

The inside pages are then bound either to the right side binding, the left side binding or both and then cut in the middle so that both sides open up.

So have some fun and get a little crazy with your next mini album!
