Hello ladies. Nicole here and today I have a fun tutorial for you. I am going to show you how to create a fun address/phone number book of your own. I'm thinking that this will make a great Christmas gift. Score! First cut 2 pieces of chipboard down to 4X4 and punch the top right and bottom right using your Round-it-All. Then use spray mist to alter the covers.

I found an address page on Maya Road's website and decided to resize the template to 4X4 and then I printed 50 4X4 address pages, front and back to use as my inserts. I cut 9 pieces of 4X4 patterned paper and then folded them in half to use as my dividers.Then I punched holes through each page.

After I punched each page, I fed the wire through each page and then used my Bind-it-All to bind the pages together.

Last, I decorated my cover and here's my final project. I love how it turned out.

DIY With the BIA

Jennifer Priest here to share with you a custom scrapbooking sketch book I created. It's one of those things you just can't buy because no one sells them.

I’ve been clipping sketches from magazines, printing them from the internet, and sketching my own over the years and I have amassed a large collection of bits and pieces of papers with sketches on them. I’ve seen sketch books made from Composition books but I wanted something totally customized to me. Enter the Bind-It-All!

I started my project by designing blank sketch pages on the computer. I set the margins to ½” on all sides but left about an inch on the bottom so that I had room to punch my binding holes. The pages are printed on 8.5x11 paper and then cut in half to create 8.5 x 5.5 pages. This is a nice size for taking in a crop bag, I think! I printed all the pages on both sides, creating single 12x12 sketch blanks on one side and double layout sketch blanks on the other side of each page.

After I printed and cut all the inner pages, I cut some blank pages to put in the back so I have a spot to glue sketches I’ve printed or cut from mags. You can put divider pages in if you want – I put one to separate sketches I make from the ones I printed or cut out.

To assemble the book, cut one Zutter Chipboard Cover down to 8.5"x11". Then cut it in half to make two 8.5"x5.5" covers. Cover with paper, then punch binding holes on the 5.5” side. Put the book in order with a cover, inner pages, and then a cover. Lay the back cover on the front cover so the outsides of the covers are facing each other. Insert binding wires and bind with the Bind It All. The rule of thumb for choosing wires for your project is to choose a wire with a diameter ¼” larger than your project is thick. Since I plan to glue things to the inside of my book, which will make it thicker over time, I am using an O-wire with ½” bigger diameter than my book is thick right now. Use the Binding Buddy to close all 9 loops of O-Wire at one time. After the book is bound, add a title and decorate! You can also use the Round It All to round the corners so they don’t get bent up while the book is stowed in your tote bag.

Oh So Sweet, Cupcake Recipe Display

           Hello Friends! Heather here to share a super fun and quick project that makes a great gift for the baker in your family. Using the Display-it-All I created a Cupcake Recipe book for my sister in law who makes the most amazing cupcakes (especially the Resse's with peanut butter frosting, yum!!) I whipped this project up in under two hours and I am super excited to share the details with you all today.

First, start off by spray painting the pieces of the Display-it-All, two coats of white spray paint covered it nicely. While your stand is drying, cut out your chipboard, paper, and recipe cards. I was able to find a pack of 25 recipe cards at my local craft store for $1.99, and used those as a template to size my chipboard and paper. I used my Round-it-All to round all of the corners to give the book a softer look. Punch your holes and bind with 3/4" Pink O-Wire and attatch to your Display-it-All stand.

Now you can start the fun part, decorating the cover and inner pages! I used a few simple images from my Silhouette SD to add some kitchen themed die cuts and tabs, tied some coordinating ribbon to the O-Wire, and I have a one of a kind recipe book. Hope I have inspired you to create your own sweet recipe book today.

My Favorite Recipes

Hi everyone, Nancy Keslin here today to share with you a project I made using my Zutter Bind-it-All, some cute Melissa Frances supplies and my Zutter Display-it-All.


I was so thrilled when I ran across this cute little kit at the Scrapbook Expo, covers and insert pages for a fun, kitschy, recipe album.  I knew it would match my kitchen and with a little help from my Bind-it-All I made a simple book to hold some of my families favorite recipes.

White 1-inch O-wires hold my little book together.  And bits of lace, trim, sequins, (from the Hydrangea Hippo store) and a few Prima flowers, as well as a bit of stickles, complete the covers that I rounded with my Zutter Round-it-All.

I painted my Display-it-All with an off white crackle finish so that it would coordinate with my kitchen, adding more flowers and a cute little doll tea pot I had from my daughter's younger days to embellish the base.

I really love how the Display-it-All keeps my recipes within easy eye site and up off my prep surface.

Now all I need to do is get in there and cook.

It’s Spring time, when all scrapper’s thoughts turn to…..WINNING!

Today is the first day of Spring and it’s an incredibly warm, blue-sky-gorgeous day here in Southern California. So being all energized and ready for warm weather, we have decided to conduct our first blog challenge! The Zutter Zister designers are bringing out their colorful papers and flowers and are making amazing Springtime projects, so let’s see what you have up your sleeves (I have seen some of their April submissions, and the Gallery is going to be amazing come the first week of April!)

Create a Bind-it-All project of any kind (mini book, décor, altered item, even a layout!) – you just have to use the BIA in some way….the theme is Spring! Use springtime colors, events, or just something that feels "springy" to you. Leave a comment on this blog post with a link to a photo of your project. Your comment should mention how you used the BIA. Nothing too technical, just mention, “used baby blue owire” or something like that. The Zutter Zisters DT will pick their favorite and we will have an April Springtime Challenge Goddess!

But instead of a tiara and scepter, our winner will receive their choice of either the R5 Blue or R10 Pink Round-it-All shipped to their door! Yippee! We will also post the selected project on the blog and gush over it. Lots of bragging opportunities up for grabs here!

To get you started on some inspiration, here is a little – and I mean little - mini book I made using 2” X 2” chipboard! It was a great way to use those little index prints I have piling up. I made a book celebrating my daughter’s sweetness…and it fits in the palm of my hand! I felt like I needed to put a penny in the picture to show how small it is! Think of all the little bits and pieces you could use for small projects like this! I used scraps of paper (of course) but also pieces of transparencies, ribbon scraps and random flowers and embellishements that weren't enough for larger projects. Give it a try with your scraps!
