What's your number?

Hello ladies. Nicole here and today I have a fun tutorial for you. I am going to show you how to create a fun address/phone number book of your own. I'm thinking that this will make a great Christmas gift. Score! First cut 2 pieces of chipboard down to 4X4 and punch the top right and bottom right using your Round-it-All. Then use spray mist to alter the covers.
I found an address page on Maya Road's website and decided to resize the template to 4X4 and then I printed 50 4X4 address pages, front and back to use as my inserts. I cut 9 pieces of 4X4 patterned paper and then folded them in half to use as my dividers. Then I punched holes through each page.
After I punched each page, I fed the wire through each page and then used my Bind-it-All to bind the pages together.
Last, I decorated my cover and here's my final project. I love how it turned out.

Junior memories book

Hello all. Nicole here. Where has the time gone? I can't believe it, but my baby sister is starting her Junior year of high school this month. Yikes. I feel so old. Last month while I was visiting my mom and sisters, Katie asked me if I ever made blank mini albums (which I never do), but I told her I could make here a few. In fact, I was really happy that she asked because the thing I love the most about scrapbooking is that I can make beautiful things for other people that are one of a kind. This month I had so much fun using some goodies from the Hydrangea Hippo Esty shop. Have you seen this shop? There are so many adorable trinkets, trims, jewels and so much more in this shop. You must check it out. This mini was a challenge for me since I am not used to creating minis without pictures but I think I did ok. And I think Katie's gonna love it :)

A coloring book for Edward

Hello everyone. Nicole here. Lately, it seems like all Edward wants to do is sit on my lap so that he can demand me to draw pictures of cars, turtles, mommy and daddy. The list goes on :) I actually love this. I think that I might have a little artist, so I'm doing everything that I can to encourage him to find his creative side.
Since my son loves to draw, I decided to create him a fun coloring book using my Bind-it-All and Clipboards. This was such a quick and easy project and Edward loves it! Go ahead and try creating one of your own. I bet your kids will love it too!

Feeling chipper?

Hello everyone. Nicole here. And today, I would like to share a fun tutorial on how you can use those chipboard pieces that you have lying around in your stash. I've had quite a few piece of chipboard that's been on my shelf for months until just recently, I though of a cool idea which involved using them and the fabulous Bind-it-All to create a fun, textured mini album.

First I covered each piece of chipboard with patterned paper (front and back).
Then I used the Bind-it-All to bind my mini together.
And here are a few pages from my album.

Hello! I hope all is well with you! Today I am just going to share a quick and easy mini album that I created for my sister. A few months ago, I came across some post about her relationship with her boyfriend and thought it was so touching so I wanted to create something that she will always have to remember these precious times. I hope she found her soulmate because it's not easy to find that special person you want to be with for the rest of your life and she is SO happy with Scott and I am truly happy for her.

Be true to you.

Hello everyone, Nicole here. Today I would like to share a fun piece of art I created for my craft room. I had so much fun playing with canvas, templates, and paint. As far as the mess involved, it was well worth it.

First, I altered a 5"X7" piece of canvas using a stencil and some Smooch ink. I used a plain marker for the title.

After I finished painting, I let the piece sit for about an hour to dry. Once dried, I popped the glass out from a 5"X7" frame and popped the 5"X7" canvas board behind the frame.
And here is my final project. I just love how this turned out. This really was an easy project and so much fun.
  • Supplies:
  • Zutter: 5"X7" Canvas Artboard
  • Other:
  • Template: Crafter's Workshop
  • Spray Ink: Smooch
  • Pearlized Accent Ink: Smooch
  • Black marker: Ranger
  • Gray marker: Creative Memories

What's on the menu?

Hello everyone. Nicole here. Today, I would like to share a menu I made using lots of fun stuff from Doodlebug. I must admit, I'm not much of a cook, but I am a planner. So this adorable menu planner is for my husband.*inserts grin* I have put him in charge of the grocery shopping and cooking since he thinks I spend too much money on groceries and honestly, I think I made out on this part of the deal. hehe. I think the Zutter Display-it-All is the perfect product to hang up my menu for the week. Wouldn't you agree?

Since I was out of 1/2" Owires, I decided to weave lace through the wholes that I made using the Bind-it-All.

This adorable Display-it-All is really simple to use. Simply flip to the page you want to display and place the top metal bar below the middle of the book to hold it into place.

Thanks for visiting today. Please come back again!
