I recently had the pleasure of contributing a project to a newsletter called Paper and Pixels - a group of enthusiastic digi scrappers who love everything crafty. You can sign up for the ezine on this link and get it free, by the way. Who doesn't love free?
Anyway, one of their members recently took my Bind-it-All 101 class and she raves about Paper and Pixels sisterhood - so give them a look-see.
So this is the fun project I made to get summer rolling....an album made from Zutter Cover-Alls for Pre-Punched Page Protectors. Can you say "Whoooohoooo for fast and easy and let's get outta the house and on to D-Land?"
For this project I used a 4X6 Cover-All sized for Pre-Punched Page Protectors, 4X6 Pre-Punched Page Protectors, and a bit of 4X4 Acrylic and Chipboard. With some of your favorite patterned paper and embellishments, this album will be ready for photos and journaling in no time. I used red 3/4" Zutter Owire to go with my color theme.
This cool thing about working with Cover-Alls is that you punch your pages along with this plastic insert sheet. The plastic sheet gets inserted into the Cover-All. That way, the owire is covered and provides a nice clean look to your project. You decorate the Cover-All any way you wish! So for this project, I interspersed pre-punched page protectors with 4X4 acrylic pages, 4X4 chipboard pages, cardstock pages, tags and miscellaneous doo-dads.I slid mats into the pre-punched page protectors - ready for photos and journaling.
Voila! Ready for our summer memories at the happiest place.... :)
You can download a PDF of this project here....
And, be sure to sign up for Paper and Pixels!
Happy Summer!
