For this project I used scrap pieces of cardboard for the covers; I also backed the alpha stickers with cardboard to give them dimension. AND, I used the Scor-it to make the flowers for the cover. Pretty fun, huh? The accordion pages house tags for journaling or photos. You could also use the pockets for memorabilia from a trip or other mementos. Imagine the possibilities! To keep all the goodies inside, I fashioned a strap from paper and glued magnets on the cover and on the strap to create a homemade closure (with a paper flower on it!). This measures about 6X8, but you could make something like this from just about any size scrap cardboard.
The accordion pockets are made by scoring the papers (think of the fans you made in 1st grade) and then attaching inner pages to the pleats. Then use the BIA to punch and bind the left spine.
