Make 'n Take at Scrapbook Royalty Slumber Crop - March 14

Aren't the 3X4 Cover-Alls the cutest? This one will be the make 'n take at Scrapbook Royalty's Slumber Crop coming up March 14-15 in San Marcos, CA. All proceeds from this MnT will benefit the Cancer Coping Center and the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos. If you don't know about Scrapbook Royalty, you should take a minute to check them out. They conduct charitable crops for noble causes, and have raised $$$ for numerous charities. It's an amazing way that scrappers can craft and give back at the same time. If you are so inclined, click on the DONATE button on their website - any amount is appreciated - and thanks!

And, if you can't partake in the MnT, take a look at our latest video. It takes you through the steps of the Cover-All MnT at CHA in January. We had the rivet setting hammers POUNDING at our booth! Leave a comment - and three random winners will get one of the following: a bottle of Zutter rivets, a Teresa Collins stamp, or a set of Zutter Acrylic Covers! We will pick the winners on St. Patrick's Day, March 17!

Thank you so very much for the chance to win a prize in your giveaway - if I do it will be a first.

I love this blog and take great inspiration from it - gorgeous work - and a special thank you for the video tutorial.

Three of my grandchildren are coming tomorrow - and guess what they will be making this time.

Yes - their own Bind it All little books to take home and fill up.

They made some a few months ago when they visited - little note books for their friends. This time I want them to have something to keep for themselves.

Under supervision they take great delight in using the Dreamkuts to cut the pages, the wire cutters to cut the O wires and I have even taught them how to punch the pages, and assemble the books. Again - under my supervision - but without me 'interferring'.

Their ages are 7, 10, and soon to be 15.

All the family can enjoy Bind-it-All and all its products. I think they have to be the best investment I have made craft wise.

We spend a whole afternoon in my little garden 'Wendy house' as the children call it. I like to think of it as my 'studio'. Gives mum and dad a break too. And it is not just 'girls' that enjoy it - I my grandson loves the 'gadgets' too.

Please keep up the wonderful work - you have opened up my eyes to so many new projects that I would never have had the imagination to think of myself.

They are all coming tomorrow - so you can guess where I will be all afternoon.

Best wishes

lottie

P.S. I will make sure that I take photos of them this time, and put them on my blog.

I love my BIA and don't use it as much as I should. However, I have introduced my Mom to it. She scrapbooks trips and events that they have at the senior center she attends not only for herself but for book that is kept at the senior center. The one at the senior center is generally a regular scrapbook but she likes smaller ones for herself. She was upset that she didn't have anymore small premade books and I told her that she can make her own with whatever paper she wanted using the BIA. She is excited and is planning on how she wants to do it. I may have created a "monster".
