It's beginning to look a lot like a "Coverall Sampler" Giveaway!

Alrighty, BIA fans, here is the first giveaway for December! What do you need to do? Easy--just leave a comment on this post about what you love to scrap or papercraft during the Winter months. I'll pick one winner at random and announce in my next post on December 13. You will get a set of two Coveralls in different styles and sizes. Good luck to all!

All that giveaway business aside, here is my very first Coveralls project. I have to say that it really added another dimension to my minibook, a more finished look. The Coverall really withstood a lot of handling, inking and embellishing. Give it a try if you haven't already!

Thanks,
Lea

What a better thing to do when it is cold out....papercraft! A nice cup of cocoa, fuzzy slippers and warm pajamas are the perfect setting to be creative!

I like to scrap my Christmas pictures, and if it's an especially cold day outside and I'm longing for warmer weather, I will scrap my beach vacation then. Nothing like the visions of hot sand and waves to warm the soul.

I scrap it all, ALL the time! But during the fall/winter months I find myself constantly going back to the deep jewel tones of the season and losing myself in the fall and Christmas colors *SIGH* Sappy crap over, I'm just lucky to get ANY paper crafting done with these crazy littles running around searching for Santa!!!

I love to do 'gift' projects... this also helps with saving money during this time of the year. Especially since I have to ship most of the gifts since our families don't live close. And I can make the items fit the boxes instead of the other way around.

During the winter there are alot of snowed-in days...That is the best time to scrap...grab a hot chocolate and bring out the pp's!!!! I have found myself busy the past winter and this winter coming for I do an annual scrapbook for my Husband's ATV Club. Once a month we hold events, some are to raise money and membership, but most of our events are to raise monies for local charities or benefit rides in other communities. I'm the designated photographer of the club and have turned these photos into wonderful keepsakes of what our club stands for and what we have accomplished!!!

I like to scrap in the winter as it gives me a great excuse NOT to be the one outside shoveling all the snow!

Lisa Cutler said...

I like to scrap in the winter is because for some reason, it seems like we have less to do. Its too cold to be out gardening or playing, so we all huddle up in the basement, me in my scrap area, the kids playing and DH in his office, all in a big open space, doign what we love, and still being together!

I just finished my first BIA project and while i still have some learning to do as far as the punching goes, its so fun and my project is great. Love it!

Kristin in OH said...

Winter seems to be the time that I scrap the most. In the fall, I get back into having crops here at my home with a group of friends from church. We take the summer off, so it is nice to get back into the groove of things once summer is over with. By the time winter comes, we are scrapping at least monthly together & then I try to get more done here at home between crops.

I love altering projects in the winter. I make as many gifts as I can crank out from October through December. I alter everything from picture frames to books to boxes/containers.... you don't want to stand in one place for too long at my house during the holidays or you might get altered! LOL! : D

That's SO cool! I love making little books with my BIA, last year I had my mom write out all her favorite recipes, made copies of them and made them into cookbooks for all her grandkids. They thought it was the coolest gift ever! Everybody thought she had them "sent out" to be done because they looked so professonal done with my trusty BIA! I also do regular scrapbooks and all my Christmas cards. Please pick me!

I adore my BIA and will start in January making the first pages of 2009 photo album/scrap book.

I get to stamp and paste and paint and emboss and try out all medias.

It is brilliant to have a machine what you can create so much with - and even better now that I have all the BIA Zutter Zisters blogs to visit for inspiration. It has made a huge difference to me - as I bought my BIA and Dreamcuts this year - and it sat in its box for ages. After the Zutter Zisters 'arrived' it never stays still long enough to gather dust - and never goes into its box!

Firstly may I just say how very much I love this blog. I never knew just how versatile the BIA is and how much I can do with it. I always have it out on a shelf on show - as before it was out of sight out of mind - never again.

I love spending time in my little craft 'shed' in the garden in the winter (it has heat!) and I look out of the window at my little bantam chickens running around. It really puts me in the mood for crafting. I have been making little note books with my BIA small enough to fit into a hand bag and nice and slim - great for shopping lists - and so many other things - a brilliant little presents for all year. This winter I am going to start a 'Year in the Life of' project - and hope to fill it will photos, little thoughts, and maybe little items I have made. Depending on how big it ends up - I will use my BIA to assemble it - maybe do and Winter book and a Summer book, and Autumn book. That's the plan!
