My daughter Franny is in a Brownie Girl Scout troop and for two years running I have been asked to conduct a scrapbooking project for the girls. This year the Try-It badge is for Caring & Sharing, which includes a scrapbook project as one of the elements. Franny and I put together the books in preparation for the meeting, and this video shows you how to get the perfect "O" in your owire! Franny is the perfect video co-star, dontcha think?
Leave a comment about how your owire binding has improved after watching this video (or just how funny Franny is when she says the owire looks "oh-ish") for a chance to win a box of new Antique Silver or Antique Brass owire - yes, TWO winners! Zutter is so excited about these new-exclusive owire colors.

Great job Franny! This is a great video thanks for sharing.
this is really helpful. can't wait to get my owires out of the box. :)
Franny is a natural Jennifer! Great video!
This video is brilliant! It made me realise why my rings are looking oval lately - it must have been a fluke the first few times I used my Zutter. On the right track now.
I love the project idea too - what a great little gift for a bunch of girls! I bet they'll love it.
I didn't realize that which way the smaller side faced made a difference. That is probably why my owires are oval looking.
thanks!!!
Great Job Franny! Thanks for sharing the video.
That is such a fab trick and WTG Franny!
I am gonna give this a go tonight! ;o)
what a great tutorial, thanks so much for sharing, I don't have a bind it all YET, and I stress yet, but I pick up rings and share with a friend and now I have the perfect O too!
thanks for sharing!
XOXO
Sara
It's been a while since my last book, but the hint about the small side of the wire facing the 'zutter' was new and I noticed that the size card goes one way and the book the other way. Not 'O' related, but I love the way you have put 'journal' cards in--bound in the book. With small books like this you definitely run out of room so this was a great idea.
Can't wait to try and see if I can now get perfectly round wires! Thanks for the video. Cute projects.
I love my zutter and now that you have showed me some awesome tricks... I LOVE IT MORE!!!! Gotta go bind something. Thanks :-)
Too cute! With each project now I will have to ask myself "is it oh-ish?"
Well if Franny's not the cutest little BIA helper, I don't know who is! Great job, Miss Franny. :)
Very helpful tips thank you! I love your book Franny!
I was so excited to see this video! It will definitely help me make my books look better.
Thank you!
Great Job Franny! Now to get my bind it all out and see if I can get O's instead of Ovals!
Thanks! I just got my owires today and bound my first book. Perfect timing!
This was a great video! I have already told my family that I want a bind it all for mothers day.
I know my 11 yr old and I will have lots of fun!

Fantastic! I never knew the bit about putting the small side nearest the machine! Thanks for the tip!
Your video is TOO COOL! I sufferred from the "egg shaped" wire too...Thanks for the tips!
Loved seeing you team up with Franny to create that adorable scout project! And yes, I did learn something from the video - that seam tip was something I didn't quite understand before and I have had my zutter since they first came out! I L-O-V-E my Zutter and those antique "ooooo-wires" would find a loving home on one of my projects :)
love my bind it all....great video
Franny is adorable. Love this video - thank you so much! I didn't know to put the small part toward the Zutter... sigh. I also didn't realize I had to center the project on top while squeezing. BUT - now I know and can make the BEST books EVER!
I have so been struggling with this. Sometimes I have success, sometimes not! Thanks so much for posting this!
I'm getting perfect O's! Love this video - the tip about the small owires is soooo important! I put a label on my BIA to remind me that the small wires should face the logo. You should have seen my oval binding before - LOL!
I am SO glad that you posted this tutorial! It seems like I can never get them into perfect O's. And I love the tip about having the binding end on the inside of the book!
Franny was a GREAT helper!
Nan -
Thanks so much for all the information. As a new owner of a Bind-It-All, this was very helpful. And let me say that your daughter, Franny is a sweetie, what an adorable little girl and so helpful. I love her little "ta-da's" when she completed binding the book - too cute!

Such a cute video! I just got my BIA and I LOVE IT! I have made 3 things so far with it, and about to make a fourth! Thankfully I watched the video to make my wires look better before I make my fourth LOL!
And Franny was too cute! Great Job!
GREAT tutorial! Thanks! The kid is cute too :) How'd the troop enjoy the books?
Wonderful video! I just got my BIA and now I think I can use it! (thanks Franny!!)
Fabulous tutorial!!!
Thanks for sharing!!♥♥
Thank you! That video was so helpful. I've only owned my Bind It All for about a month and it's great to know that there is a small and large size and which needs to go towards the machine. It's also good to know about the indentation. I hadn't noticed that. This is definetely going to help me.
Franny did a great job! So cute!
Oh my(pun intended)haha. That was a great little video with a great little helper. Thanks for the info, who'd have thought it made a difference which way the wire was placed.I would love a chance to win the antique silver o-wires. Thanks for the giveaway, ms.cheryl
Thank you for this great tutorial, I bind one birthday organizer yesterday. I must say that my O-wire is not totally o-ish. Jet. Hope with some practice, it will be perfect, just like yours!
Love the new colors. Great addition.
Love the video too. Thanks for sharing. I hope this improves my binding.
Eveline
Thanks so much for doing this! It will help alot :)
What a cute video! I'm planning on doing something like that with our Cub Scout Den. It's oh-ish!
The video was great.... and very helpful. I couldn't live without my bind it all!! I love it! I hadn't ever used my sizing guide thing.... so I will be sure to do so on my next project!
Thanks.
I think I need to get one of these gadgets... so cool and can be used in so many ways!
HI JENNIFER PRIEST!!
Comin to check out your blog from over at Jennifer Priest's blog. Love the O-wire video and Franny is too cute! I just purchased a BIA recently and now i'll have to take one of Jennifer's fab classes to learn more about it!
I'm visiting from Jennifer Priest's blog!
p.s. I love the BIA!
Great video! All of my bind-it-all projects have been looking more 'o-ish' since I watched :)
Some great tips there, especially about putting the small loop toward the machine. I didn't know about that! Thanks for making the video. :)
JENNIFER , You are on The Bind It All design team also. I commented here yesterday about the O-wires.

visiting from Jennifer's blog
Doing OWires looks like much more fun when you have a helper! Now I know how to do it perfectly every time.
Swedie
this is so cool!!!! The little books are absolutely adorable!
Thanks for sharing this video !!!!! It was great! I can't wait to see more! Yay!
I don't recall seeing a survey but this video was super helpful. I always have had my seam on the outside but now know the correct way to fix that. I also dont' think I knew which way to put the wire in to bind.
More of these 'basic' videos, please!
I just got my Bind-It-All and love it. Cute video.
I just bought my zutter machine and stuff to play with last week. Man if a 6 year old can do it so can I. Awesome job Franny.
Okay...now I have no more excuses for being afraid of my machine...especially if a six year old can use it. It's the fear of ruining your papers/project after you've worked so hard to complete them and then punching holes in them...yikes! Great idea to start out by putting together the albums...then to decorate and this eliminates the binding fear. Great way to start...thanks! Roberta

I just got my Bind It All this past Friday night. I don't even HAVE any wires yet. lol But this video was very helpful, when I get some wires... I will know how to turn them and make perfect O's.
This video could not have been posted at a better time for me. I am rusty on using my bind it all and this was so helpful!! Thanks!
Great video, I sure do need all the help I can get. Thanks so much for posting it, and thanks for the chance to win some Oh-Wires. :O)
Excellent video Jennifer!!!and Franny is such a cute helper, the owires were (and sometimes still are )the hardest thing for me to figure out (punching the holes the most intimidating)Thank you!
Perfect video!!! I was having issues with this, sometimes they came out good and other times not so good. I am going to have to craft today and put this info into use :)
Thank You!!!!
Thanks Franny and Nan! I hadn't heard about the way the small legs should face before. A great video, super appreciated
I'm new to using a Bind-it-all, so great tips!
Very helpful! Go Brownies!!!
Now I understand the sizing templates and great tips on which way the wires go in the machine. I already love my BIA but this will make it even better! Thanks!!
