I just got my BIA and can't wait to get started. My grand-daughter (3 yrs old) visited us this summer and my husband took her to see all the dinosaurs around town (lots of pictures of course). I want to make her a book with the BIA so that she can show her friends in Ontario. I want to find out more about the covers you offer. I hope you pick me as I don't have any supplies yet. I love my BIA because it allows me to give my grandson things that no one else can - a sense of his family history, so that he'll know who and where he came from. It gives me the way to create a legacy.

ReplyDeleteBesides the fact it's pink, I love the fact I can make my own minis, whatever shape or size I want. That not all the pages need to be the same shape & size, it can be haphazard, kinda like me in a way.
Sure I can bind with rings but I just feel the BIA binding is that much more sturdier and it's more neat in appearance. Gives it more of a professional finished binding than using regular old rings to bind.

Yes I love BIA but I am guilty guilty guilty. I bought my BIA last summer and it still sits on a shelf 3 feet away with the little chain on it. I felt a little overwhelmed when I got it and have never used it. I have drooled and drooled over the projects made. They look out of my old brain league. I will promise to stop drooling and actually used it. Ty for reminder email, now I need inspiration. I love all of it and need to stop being a lurker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI love my bind it all because not only can I whip up a mini book when I need it quick, I can rebind all my fundraiser cookbooks that are falling apart (because they use that really cheap plastic binding!)

I LOVE my BIA because it's another avenue of creativity for me! I can paint pages, collage them or anything else my creative heart desires. I love making books for my grandchildren, my children & last, but not least - MYSELF. I can make my own journals (using watercolor paper) so that I can play to my heart's content. I do not go anywhere to scrap without my best friend....my BIA that is!!! I use it all the time making all kinsd of minialbums and drawingbooks for my kids and their friends. There is nothing you cant do with your BIA`!!!

I have made many mini's and now for gifts I am making 13 x 13 albums with the 12 x 12 the pre-punched pages... wow with a BIA and other zutter products I can make anything. :)

ReplyDeleteThe BIA is the most wonderful invention, no batteries, no power cords, its small enough to take away on holidays with you so you dont have to cut your holiday short just to get back to your little BIA! You can make your journals as you go. Im addicted!!!
