Thought I would share the 411 on one of the newest product kits in the Zutter family - the Acrylic Organizer Stamp Album Kit. How cool is this? It's an acrylic album you assemble yourself, that you use to store your clear and unmounted rubber stamps. This is a nice way to store your stamps...they cling to the acrylic pages easily - without any clumsy flaps or pockets - and the frosted plastic sheets between acrylic pages keeps the stamps from sticking to each other (without adding undue weight to the book). It's a handy 8X8" album size - perfect for toting to crops or just keeping on your desktop. The kit even comes with a Zutter Perfect Closure, so you can add a finishing touch to the book. And...the holes for the closure are pre-made! Easy! The book itself is not pre-punched, but it only takes a few minutes.

I own 100's of stamps -- one can never have too many stamps - hehe! I love the clear stamps and this is a perfect way to organize them AND wouldn't this idea be the perfect way to give some sets as a gift for the upcoming holidays?! Love it - thank you!

ReplyDeleteI couldn't even begin to count the number of stamps I have (can you say addict - LOL)! The collecting of stamps is a very contagious disease, did you know that? But it is one I can live with. I would love to win one of these binders. I know I would use it to carry the stamps I plan to use in classes I teach. So much more organized. I would really love to use them for organizing my other unmounted stamps - but I think it might put me in the poor house - LOL! Although I could purchase a few at a time.

I have about 20 packages of clear stamps and about 10 rubber stamps that are not on wood. I do not have much space to keep them stored so everything is thrown in a box. I'd love to have one of these so that I can store them where they'd be organized. This way, I'd get a better handle on using stamps that I have. Sometimes...I forget what I have.

ReplyDeleteOMGOSh! When this item was first introduced, i thought. Nah.. i don't need this. But after seeing the demo and how it would be so much better, I GOTTA HAVE IT! Even if i don't win it, i'll save my pennies/nickels to get one - (would be faster if i won it though!) :) I have a whole plastic bin full of rubber stamps, that i've been wanting to convert to unmounted stamps. I keep my unmounted Stamps in the CD cases. Which has been great, but this would be better, i could keep it on a shelf! LOL

ReplyDeleteI've got about 20 stamps. They were a gift from my father-in-law from the US. I'm expecting another shippment maybe next year :). This idea for stamp storage is excellent and I think that any scrapper could use it and be happy :) (and organized :)). If you ship to Europe, I'll be happy to have it LOL :)

What a nice thing! I seek since week for a fine solution to store unmounted and clearstamps together. In every german forums you can read, that laminating foil harms the clears. I don´t know, if that is true - but I won`t test it. Thank you for sharing this solution.

ReplyDeleteI own approximately 60 acrylic stamps. I sure could use one of these kits as I keep my acrylic stamps in their plastic which has become more and more ripped as I've taken them out to use and now my stamps are falling off the plastic and into the plastic shoe box I keep them in. That's why I couldn't exactly count them as I was trying to find them in the bottom of the container and kept losing count. It's a sad storage situation happening here. :(
