Put this on your To-Do list!

I teach a monthly "Zutter Club" at The Scrapbooker's Dream in Tewksbury, MA. Every month I teach some kind of mini-book, and then send the students home with a "challenge" kit. The challenge kit has supplies in it, but no directions, so that the students can let their ideas flow... Here's my take on this month's challenge.

The Materials:
3 5"x7" pieces of American Crafts Cardstock
4 5"x7" pieces of My Mind's Eye Patterned Paper
2 5"x7" pieces of Heavy Weight Chipboard
1 Maya Road Sheer Flower
1 yard of May Arts Ribbon
1 4"x6" notebook

I knew that I wanted to have the little notebook slide in and out of the back, so I would need a pocket (I make lots of lists :) and wanted to be able to replace the notepad once it was all used up) so I covered the back chipboard cover with cardstock, and a smaller piece of patterned paper. I attached only the edges of the patterned paper to make a pocket. To be sure that I could slide it in and out easily, I also cut a T pattern on the back of the notepad...

For the final decorated cover, I added the title using my QuicKutz, "To Do" is Katie Mini, and "Today" is Abigail.
